REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR OUR AFTER SCHOOL & WEEKEND CLASS
At Ahtoo Montessori School, STEM is not an extracurricular activity — it is an integral part of our daily teaching and timetable across all classes. Every learner engages in practical Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through hands-on experiments, design projects, and creative problem-solving tasks.
From preschool through JHS, our teachers guide students to explore how things work, test ideas, and build real solutions. STEM at Ahtoo is a living classroom — where curiosity is nurtured, teamwork is encouraged, and innovation becomes second nature.
Our Robotics and Coding programme gives every learner the chance to design, build, and programme robots using the Whalesbot kits and applications. This hands-on learning experience allows children to connect coding principles with real-world functions — from movement and control to automation and problem-solving.
At Ahtoo Montessori, we believe robotics is more than technology; it’s a mindset. Through guided challenges and creative exploration, our students develop confidence, logical reasoning, and a forward-looking attitude to innovation
As part of our commitment to digital literacy, Ahtoo Montessori School proudly partners with Enjoy AI Africa & World to introduce learners to the foundations of Artificial Intelligence. Students engage in interactive sessions that teach them how machines learn, think, and respond to data in the real world.
Our AI team made history by winning the African Open Championship and will represent Ghana at the Global AI Competition in China in December 2025. This international achievement reflects our dedication to preparing young Ghanaians to compete and excel on the global technological stage.
The Ahtoo Weekend Class provides extended opportunities for students to reinforce key academic skills while exploring technology and creativity. Our sessions include Scratch coding, introductory programming, and guided project-based learning.
These weekend lessons are carefully structured to give every learner the space to practise, explore, and grow beyond the regular school timetable — balancing academic focus with fun, curiosity-driven discovery.
Our BBC Micro:Bit Programme equips learners with hands-on experience in electronics and coding using the micro:bit board. Students create digital devices, LED projects, and simple automation systems — gaining an early understanding of hardware and software integration.
Through these engaging activities, Ahtoo Montessori students learn to think like designers and inventors, using technology as a tool to express ideas and solve everyday problems.
The Edu–Bit Kit experience at Ahtoo Montessori introduces learners to coding and circuit design in an enjoyable, hands-on way. Using colourful, modular learning kits, students explore sensors, lights, motors, and microcontrollers as they build their own creative projects.
It’s a joyful, interactive learning experience that builds confidence in technology while reinforcing teamwork, critical thinking, and innovation — the core values we stand for at Ahtoo Montessori School.
