At Ahtoo Montessori School, our Pre-School provides a warm, stimulating environment where children begin their journey of discovery and independence. We use the Montessori approach blended with modern early years pedagogy to nurture curiosity and confidence.
Our Pre-School also runs a robust Synthetic Phonics programme with a specialized classroom setup that gives children a one-year Kindergarten foundation in reading, spelling, and counting. Through interactive games, sensory play, and early numeracy activities, our learners gain the literacy and numeracy exposure they need to progress confidently into Primary school.
STEM learning begins here too — even our youngest learners explore basic science, building, and creative problem-solving through age-appropriate activities that make learning joyful and meaningful.

OUR PRIMARY
The Primary level at Ahtoo Montessori builds on the strong early foundation established in Pre-School. Each child is guided to think critically, work collaboratively, and apply knowledge practically across all subjects.
STEM, Robotics, and Coding are taught as part of the regular timetable, not as extras — ensuring every learner becomes tech-aware, curious, and innovative. Our goal is to produce independent learners who show excellence in academics, creativity, and moral character.

Our Junior High School stands as a beacon of academic excellence and innovation in the Ayawaso Central Municipality. Ahtoo Montessori JHS is proudly ranked the best among all 65 schools in the municipality and has been adjudged the Best BECE Performing School for five consecutive years (2020–2024).
This record is a reflection of our strong academic standards, dedicated teachers, and the disciplined, hardworking spirit of our students.
Beyond examination success, our JHS integrates STEM, Robotics, Coding, and AI education into the learning process, equipping learners with 21st-century skills to excel in Senior High School and beyond. At Ahtoo Montessori, we don’t just prepare students for exams — we prepare them for life and leadership.

OUR EXTRACURRICULAR CLUBS
At Ahtoo Montessori School, learning extends beyond the classroom walls. We believe in nurturing the whole child — academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. Our extracurricular clubs are designed to build confidence, leadership, teamwork, and creativity. Each club gives learners an opportunity to discover their unique interests and talents while reinforcing discipline, responsibility, and collaboration
DEBATERS CLUB
The Ahtoo Montessori Debaters Club is a powerhouse of confident thinkers and articulate speakers. Members are trained to research, reason, and speak persuasively while maintaining respect and clarity.
We are proud to announce that our team has won the Circuit 16 Debate Championship twice in a row — 2023 and 2024, emerging as the leading debating school within the Ayawaso Central Municipal Circuit.
Through debate, our students sharpen their communication, logic, and leadership skills — preparing them to be confident advocates and future leaders
SPELLERS CLUB
The Ahtoo Montessori Spellers Club has become a model of linguistic excellence and discipline. Our spellers have achieved an extraordinary milestone — six-time champions of the Circuit 16 Spelling Bee, competing against both private and public schools within the Ayawaso Central Municipality.
This success is built on years of structured practice, teamwork, and a love for words. The club fosters accuracy, focus, and confidence in language — qualities that reflect our school’s academic strength and high standards.
SCHOOL SPORTS TEAMS
Sports at Ahtoo Montessori teach more than physical strength — they build character, teamwork, and perseverance. Our athletes participate actively in football, athletics, and volleyball competitions across the municipality.
Through regular training and friendly contests, students learn to respect rules, support one another, and value fair play, embodying our school’s spirit of discipline and unity.
STEM TEAM
Our STEM Team represents the creative and innovative spirit of Ahtoo Montessori. Learners engage in coding, robotics, and engineering challenges that build real-world problem-solving skills.
The team recently made national headlines after winning the Enjoy AI African Open Championship and earning the honour to represent Ghana at the Global AI Competition in China in December 2025.
